She married her first cousin Rafe Gordon Dutton Cavenagh-Mainwaring (1906–1995) on 11 June 1931 in Whitmore, Staffordshire. They had two children during their marriage. She died on 24 October 1987 in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, at the age of 83.

I don’t know who John James Russell’s parents were nor am I certain how he and Cudmore were related: Assistant Surgeon Dr Russell of the 63rd Regiment (1804 – 1849)
