My great great grandmother

Margaret Cudmore nee Budge. 

53 Margaret Budge, daughter of Kenneth Budge and Margaret Gunn was born on 22 October 1845 in Wick, Caithness, Scotland. Margaret emigrated to South Australia with her family. She married James Francis Cudmore (1837 – 1912), a pastoralist. They had 13 children (see Cudmore family index). She died on 1 December 1912 in “Paringa Hall”, Somerton, South Australia.

106 Kenneth Budge was born on 1 May 1813 in Caithness, Scotland. He died in Aug 1852 in at sea (of Cholera near Elsinore, Denmark). He married Margaret Gunn on 17 June 1840 in Parish Church, South Leith, Midlothian, Scotland.

107 Margaret Gunn, daughter of Donald Gunn and Alexandrina Manson was born on 26 February 1819 in Wick, Caithness, Scotland (Auchingill was a coastal village 10 miles north of Wick). She died on 1 September 1863 in Bookmark, South Australia.

In 1854 Margaret Budge nee Gunn remarried, to Ewan Rankin (born 1825).

214 Donald Gunn, son of Peter Gunn and Margaret Manson was born about 1783 in Cannisbay, Caithness, Scotland. He died on 21 October 1870 in Staxigoe, Wick, Caithness. He married Alexandrina Manson on 4 July 1807 in Cannisbay, Caithness.

215 Alexandrina Manson, daughter of John Manson and Jane Bain was born about 1786 in Cannisbay, Caithness, Scotland. She died on 20 January 1881 in Staxigoe, Wick, Caithness.
